We did

The CSP created a hub containing all the resources our stewards need to recruit new workplace reps.

vPUK is not accessible to delegates with a hearing impairment

We did

We captioned all requested pre-recorded presentations for the conference and captioned all post-conference recordings. We also added the captions manually to ensure accuracy.  A British Sign Language interpreter was also in attendance for the live keynote speeches, as well as for the session presented by co-convenors of the DisAbility Network.

Work on education, training and career progression opportunities is needed for physiotherapy support workers in Scotland are inadequate. 

We did

We explored the issues, surveyed and talked to members and have developed and produced a clear position about changes we would like to see. We are using this to ask policy makers in Scotland to review and improve the situation for physiotherapy support workers.

We need more student reps in our CSP regional networks

We did

We promoted the value of being part of a CSP regional network with local students. This resulted in more students becoming involved, particularly assisting with member engagement on social media. The South Central regional network alone recruited seven students to the team.

CSP reps need an expanded workplace team within University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, to best support members employed there

We did
