Physiotherapy staff at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex, teamed up with other allied health professions (AHPs) to host an event aimed at raising awareness about their professions.

The trust-wide event, in late 2015, was well attended by other clinicians and trust board members, according to medical physiotherapy team lead and organiser of the event Janice Bernardo.
She said: ‘It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate and share our achievements with colleagues. It also promoted AHPs service improvement and innovation projects within the trust.’
An annual AHP day is now being planned.
