A physio technician was nominated for an award by satisfied patients in recognition of her kindness, efficiency and good work.
Best of Health award-winner Tanya Best
Tanya Best, who works at Amulree Assessment Unit in Portsmouth, received the allied health professional/worker of the year award at the Best of Health Awards organised by local paper The News.
Ms Best was presented with her award at a ceremony held at Portsmouth Guildhall.
She told Frontline: ‘It's a huge honour to be appreciated for what we do and I am very humbled. We work hard as a team and I couldn't do my job without the amazing staff at Amulree.’
Her patients highlighted her good advice and understanding during their appointments, with one of them noting in their nomination that: ‘Tanya made me feel like I was always making good progress and was always encouraging.’
