We are pleased to inform members in Wales that a level 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioner (TAP) qualification is being piloted in Hywel Dda Health Board in partnership with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
We are also pleased to share that reference group member Chris Richards is one of the pilot cohort.
Learners will work towards the qualification through a blended approach of on-line learning once a week and work based practice and assessment.
The course programme covers:
- communication for TAPs
- professional practice for TAPs
- research and health promotion
- clinical and evidence based practice
We look forward to learning the outcome of the pilot and to see roll out of this qualification across Wales.
