In response to the Government’s announcement of its coronavirus self-employment income support scheme, the CSP’s director of employment relations and union services, Claire Sullivan, today says:
‘This is a broadly welcome and encouraging move, but we are conscious of the potential impact of the 10-week wait on small businesses, and of possible exclusions.
‘We are also awaiting clarity on the interaction with those physios who are wanting to return to the NHS.
‘We will provide more information once we have more detail about the scheme.’
